I would concede a few points with you IF anything in this bill would have prevented any of the recent shootings. The fact is that there are other issues we need to consider, calmly, before addressing an outright ban of any weapons.
Some, not all, see this as an opportunity to play politics. Just today there is an article about how this is the next women’s issue. They are already getting their war on women talking points together. This is just the beginning of this fight.
