I chaperone whenever it is possible. My daughter is only 10, so it is easy right now for me, but they do need chaperones so why not?

I would also prefer that my daughter have a child than potentially get a disease that can be permanent or kill her, because she thinks the only consequence is pregnancy. This is not about me and whether or not I want to be a grandmother, but about the health and well being of my daughter.

I too was not sure about my desire to be a mother. However, I am constantly amazed by the awesome little people that I find our growing and changing relationship more valuable than anything in my pre-motherhood life. I had a great career, and fun life, but I truly enjoy my children. I find it sad that this woman is so void of anything other than her shallow self to have the joy. Sad.

A liberal teacher wrote on her Facebook page that she had prayed that the Boston bombers would be white so that her Muslim students would not be subjected to further abuse. My husband commented that if Muslims were being targeted CAIR would be all over it. I then commented that teachers should be colorblind and not favor one race over another and that all kids need to learn how to deal with bullies and no race is immune to this. I was then lectured (by clearly non-fearful and non-bullied students of hers) about white priviledge. I was all disgusting.

Urgent Request for Blood Donations In Texas
Today Central Texas was rocked with an explosion as a fertilizer plant in the town of West, Texas blew up. As the recovery begins, the victims need our help. Please see the plea below. From Donna Karl at Carter BloodCare in Waco Blood Drive at Providence Hospital will be open 11:00am-5:00pm and the Donor Center will be open at 9:00am (4002 W Waco Drive, corner of Waco Dr and New Rd by On The Border Restaurant) . We are at Corsicana HS also tomorrow and Friday. Please remind folks that we will need blood and especially platelets over the next several days as people are being treated so if they can't donate tomorrow, we are open on Friday and Saturday. My phone number is 254-297-4002. I will be onsite at my office at 7:30am. It is imperative that we get donations not only tomorrow, but over the next several days as blood products have an extremely short shelf life. Please donate! Call me if you have ANY questions!
